“Mother, Father, please!” Chihiro begged, her fists locked in a pleading form. “It’s been so long… Wasn’t it just gorgeous there?” She sighed, looking up as if in a dream. Averting her gaze back to her parent’s eyes, she continued to ask. “You said it would be nice to take a picnic there, you can eat while I set up camp, then you can leave at twilight.”
Sighing, Chihiro’s father crossed his arms, a frown on his face. “You’re only fifteen. I don’t think you’re old—“ He was cut off by a sob then a plea to the other parent.
“Mom… Please! Be reasonable.” She cried, pushing her brown hair from her face.
Her mother placed a hand on her forehead and closed her eyes. “Chihiro…” She began, turning to the man of the home. “Dear, it would be nice to go back,” She opened her eyes, wrapping her arm around his.
Exhaling deeply, Akio nodded slowly. “Fine, but don’t get yourself kidnapped.” He smiled, watching his daughter’s smile grow.
“Oh, thank you!” She squealed, dashing up the stairs of her blue home. Swiftly, she tossed a few outfits and garments into a large, green bag. Hurriedly, she wrapped a matching sleeping bag up top of her bag. “Haku, I’m coming.” She whispered excitedly, as her family piled into their blue car. A growl from the old car, a whiff of petrol, and the car was rumbling down a thin, rocky, forested road. Quickly, they sped past the tiny stone huts of long ago, which were covered with more moss and leaves that had been accumulated over five years. Gaily, Chihiro tugged the bottom of her white shirt, and then straightened her khaki jeans, smiling all the way.
“Honey, slow down, you’re going to get us killed!” Yuuko cried, placing a hand on her husband’s hairy arm.
“Whoa!” He shouted, slamming on the break. Screeching to a halt, the car skid slightly across the mossy ground, pausing just before a collision with a round idol. “We’re back.” He spoke softly, climbing out of the car.
Now Chihiro couldn’t contain her excitement. She flew out of the car, dashing for the entrance of the abandoned amusement park. She sped through the entrance and out into the beautiful grassy plains in which she saw five years before. The grass had grown more, and the small river which she had trouble crossing as a child had also expanded, filled with rainwater and blocked in places by an occasional stone. Inhaling the pollen and aromatic scents of the grass, water and old wooden homes around, Chihiro shook; she couldn’t wait ‘til night!
Soon, a raging fire blared over a few logs, hissing and popping as embers flew. “Mmmmm. That was great, dear.” Akio sighed, patting his stomach. Bending over, he kissed his daughter on her cheek, before standing. “Okay, Chihiro. You’ve got to be careful, don’t go getting lost in that park, some buildings may collapse.” He warned, wagging a finger at her. “Okay?”
“Sure, of course, Dad.” She giggled, giving him a hug. “Bye, Mom, bye, Dad.” Chihiro waved, standing on the toes of her yellow and white shoes to peer over the grass to see when her parents had finally gone out of the park ground. Sighing, she pulled out a lined piece of paper and a yellow number two pencil from her bag. Smiling, she swiftly scratched down a note. When finished, she held up her work, and read it out loud.
“To whoever may find this note,
I have got to live in the bath house of the spirit world. I don’t know when I’ll return, and you may never see me again.
I love you, Mom and Dad. Please don’t be too sad, this is my own choosing.
Goodbye forever,
Chihiro.”
As the teen re-read her letter, a tear slowly tricked down her face. Wiping it off, she placed it gently in her tent. Pulling her hair back with the sparkling, purple band given to her as a girl, she grabbed her bag containing her name, her clothes and her sleeping mat. Chihiro held them under her arm as she dashed for the short stone steps and past the food stalls. Pausing before a large Bonsai tree, she sighed, remembering what she had done five years ago. Grinning, she sped for the bridge, watching for Haku, her friend from her last visit. “Haku… I’m here.” She sighed, stepping onto the bridge. The sun set. Shops began to light up. And the familiar music and laughter of the bath house sang out as she had remembered.
“It’s good to see you, Chihiro.” A male’s voice whispered happily, as two arms wrapped around her body.
Roughly done, once again.
I'll get around to writing another chapter sooner or later. xP

Please, I beg you, add a part 2! Even just a few lines, you don't need to tell new adventures or anything, just say a bit more on the reunion with Haku
